Another exciting opportunity for startups based in Bahrain and around the region as pre-accelerator platform YoStartups and CH9 – Corporate Hub have joined forces to run not one, not two, but FOUR editions of My Startup Bootcamp in the Kingdom this year.

As always, Tamkeen has stepped up to play the role of a strategic partner along with Program Partners Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), StartUp Bahrain, and the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.

The second batch of My Startup Bootcamp began in CH9 last month on April 29, 2018. More than 120 applicants sent their entries to be a part of the program, of which a little more than 18 startups were picked. They are now undergoing an extensive training program to polish their skills and sharpen their entrepreneurial mission.

Among the 18 startups picked for the second batch, 12 are Bahrain-based while the other six are from various parts of the world including Hong Kong, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Slovenia.

The next edition of YoStartups’ My Startup Bootcamp will go live in October 2018 — roughly around the same week as another big event – Bahrain Technology Week. The application window for the third batch of My Startup Bootcamp for the year will open sometime in June 2018.
